Practice setup

Learn how to setup and manage your practice

This guide is for users who want to update practice details, update branding and manage the practice strategy list.

Role type required: Practice Admin

❗Ensure you are operating at the practice level by selecting the practice selector above your profile image in the bottom left corner.

ℹ️ Update your Practice name, ABN, AFSL number and key contact details

Select settings from the left hand menu and select Practice Setup. If you have made any changes on the Details page ensure you hit save.

ℹ️ Add your practice branding to your Advice Documents

Select settings from the left hand menu and select Theme. From within this screen you will be able to adjust the following: 

(note the recommended file format for all logos and headers is PNG or JPEG)

  • Primary Colour - you can set your primary branding colour and the system will automatically select secondary colours that complement your main colour. These colours will show in all charts within the IFF Adviser Portal and Client Portal.
     
  • Logo - the logo is utilised within the IFF Portal (top left of screen) and can also be coded to appear in documents generated via IFF. In the standard advice document, this appears on the Cover Page. If possible, we do recommend utilising a logo with a transparent background to ensure the highest quality. 
    • The logo specifications consist of a width of 300 pixels and a height of 200 pixels. This will ensure the logo appears nicely on the Cover Page of your advice documents.
  • Square Logo - this is utilised as the favicon of your browser and can be coded to appear in documents generated from IFF. In the Standard Statement of Advice we do not utilise this image.
     
  • Header Dimensions - the header can be coded to appear within your generated documents from IFF. In the standard advice document, this appears on the About this document page.
    • The recommended dimensions for the header image are a width of 780 pixels and a height of approximately 200 pixels. The text of the letter starts at approximately 225 pixels so utilising the recommended guidelines will ensure there is no overlap between the text and your image.
  • Footer Dimensions - the footer can be coded to appear within your generated documents from IFF.
    • For the footer image, it is suggested to maintain a width of 780 pixels and a height of roughly 160 pixels. This dimension recommendation aims to prevent any overlap with the main content or text, ensuring the footer remains neatly aligned without obstructing any text.

ℹ️ Select strategies for users to utilise in Strategy Builder

Select settings from the left hand menu and select Strategy List. Any strategies you add to the Selected pane will be made available to users for selection within Strategy Builder. Strategies left within the Available pane will not be visible to users within Strategy Builder. Ensure you hit Save to retain any changes.
